Common Glyphs

The Alien Way

With the arrival of the Hospites Nostri in 2103 AD, a system of Glyphs was created to mimic their written language. The Draconics, Caderes, Helioses, and others made these symbols using several ancient alphabet systems to help the aliens understand the importance of certain people, places, things, concepts, and events, many of which were foreign.

The Glyphs are words spelled out in a script, then stacked to create one symbol. The most important rule of Glyphening is that things, places, and concepts are enclosed in a circle. Usually, they are designed with blocky, angular scripts, although there are a few exceptions to the rule. Family Glyphs or Creature Glyphs are NEVER in a circle and are usually created with curvy scripts.
