Fortunia Guide
A Game of Math and Luck
Roll the dice, flip the dominoes, do the math, and for the love of everything—don’t lose your marbles.
The Core Loop
Draw & Choose: Draw 3 dominoes and choose 2 to play.
Fortune vs. Fate: Each turn, you choose how to play:
✨ Fortune: Use dice-driven matches to build your score and recover marbles.
⚓ Fate: Use domino patterns to score 0 points for yourself and drain your opponent's score and marbles.
The Balance: Neither strategy dominates; a 1,000-game simulation shows a near-perfect 50.1% / 49.9% win split.
Scoring Conditions: Build or Destroy
Fortune (Build): Match dice to domino faces to score points.
Alignment: Matches your dice to domino sides (+3 pts).
Critical Alignment ⚡: Match a die to a double domino (e.g., die 5 on 5|5). Scores double points + 5, plus recovers 2 marbles.
CHEESE 🧀: Roll 5&6 + hold the 5|6 domino for a massive 22-point swing.
Fate (Drain): Use domino patterns to sabotage your opponent.
Dragon’s Eye: Play two double dominoes to drain the sum of all 4 faces + 5 from your opponent’s score, plus a 2-marble penalty.
Mirror to Wall: Play mirrored values (e.g., 2|5 and 5|2) to drain the total sum from your opponent.
The Marble System
Your marbles are your lifeblood.
Start/Max: You start with 4 marbles (max 5).
Lose/Recover: Lose a marble on an unsuccessful turn or an opponent's Fate drain. Recover them by successfully matching Fortune conditions.
Elimination: Lose all your marbles, and the game is over.

The Rules of the Table
Fortuna’s Favor: If both a Fortune and Fate condition exist on your board, you get a +1 combo bonus automatically.
Floor-at-Zero: Your score never drops below 0. Any "overflow" drain against a zero-score opponent is converted into a marble loss.
The Shop: Visit the in-game shop for tactical advantages like The Scramble, Fortune Charms, or Tuna’s Advice (to highlight the best move).
Pass-and-Play: Challenge a friend locally. The second player (Player B) starts with a +3 Underdog bonus to keep the game tight.
How to Win
Race to 40: Reach the target score (40 points) first.
Drain Them Out: Drain your opponent to 0 marbles.
The Sudden Death: In Hardcore mode, landing a CHEESE combo ends the game instantly.
Pro-tip: Keep an eye out for Critical Alignment ⚡. It’s the highest-tension move in the game—forcing you to choose between the defensive/building power of recovering 2 marbles or the aggressive destruction of a Dragon’s Eye.
