Ponderer's Pointe

The social climate in Ponderer’s Pointe is an acquired taste, like a chili-flavored dessert. As possibly appealing as the stimulating combination sounds, it somehow does not sit well on the stomach.

A small, intellectual Northern town with a postcard view of the Pacific and a population that reads everything — including the room. Friendly. Literary. Mellow. Open-minded. But don’t let the calm fool you, their cops stay busy chasing down unexplained phenomena, rogue auras, and the occasional caffeinated poltergeist.

Their local paper, The Ponderer’s Pointe Instigator, is a visual buffet of conspiracy, poetry, and passive-aggressive horoscopes.

At the city’s heart is Quaintytown — a historic district as charming as it is suspicious.

Ponderer’s Pointe also boasts a surprisingly fierce sports legacy:

PP Foragers (baseball) — scrappy and strategic

PP Wanderers (hockey) — unstoppable on ice and in existential crises

PP Scavengers (basketball) — beloved and bizarre

PP Plunderers (football) — furious, fast, and fond of metaphors

PP Hunters (soccer) — always on the prowl

The Four Cities of the Apocalypse!

Some blame the weirdness on Goloma & Soetin, the local pharmaceutical giant behind the mind-bending prescription Dysruptotrol. Others point to Lagerkoff Brewery, whose best-selling beverage blends Colombian coffee, beer, and cinnamon into a drink that tastes like a fever dream and hits like a prophecy.

Other local hotspots include:

The Gettogether Spot Pub & Bar — where the town’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community and rabid sports fans coexist in a delicate truce that occasionally explodes into karaoke-fueled chaos

Medievalla Theme Park — a world-renowned LARP haven that gets most of the Middle Ages wrong but all the vibes right, open 365 days a year, rain, shine, or dragon attack. Located just down the street from the Gettogether Spot, which makes for some very interesting Friday nights

Its fog-shrouded lighthouse now houses the Doctor Finnie Kingfisher Healing Center, where wellness meets weirdness. Nearby, the God’s Only Children Church, founded by the revered Reverend Franz Devine, offers sermons, salvation, and suspiciously good acoustics.

Ponderer’s Pointe: where the fog is thick, the drinks are weird, and the truth is always just out of reach.
