In the Dakaverse, many vivid paintings and delightful décor adorn the environment. The most expansive style shown is Veclage art. Veclage art can be seen in many picture frames, panels, posters, and other flat surfaces in people’s houses, businesses, and advertisements. But what is this colorful creation that often reflects the mood of the story?

Veclage, or vector collage, is a fun, stress-relieving digital art form created by Daka Yuko. Clip art pieces, mostly vector-based for easier editing, are layered on an image editing template like Adobe Photoshop or Corel PaintShop. Between each clip art layer, many textures and effects are applied to give each layer an individual look that stands out against the rest, providing a more 3-dimensional or heavily textured look.

Caleb  ~Knight Bandit~ Bronston

An artist prominently featured in the Dakaverse is Tellurium Ridge's purple-headed rapper and wealthy entrepreneur, Knight Bandit. He is a literal knightly bandit on an everlasting quest to win his precious Princess Kortnee's heart.

His art tends to have Hip-Hop or graffiti elements but he is remarkably well-rounded as a creator. He also deals with prophecies, occult, political, and spiritual subjects, all with a dark spin.

Mandy Maxwell

An artist prominently featured in the Dakaverse is Amanda Maxwell, a Plumesworthe native. Amanda is an awkward young woman with a troubled past, struggling as a late-blooming recluse seeking love.

Her art tends to lean toward the darkly macabre and mildly violent. She sees painting as a wonderful way to relieve stress and escape from herself. It is ideally suited for her frenemy Velma Vlakvanovich’s pilfered book cover needs, being a hacky romantic horror author.
